*wheeze* I did this in under an hour- REEEE I LOVE THIS DESIGN!!! The color contrast with the grays, blues, and dark blue-grays are GENIUS! I keep on trying to convince myself not to get attached to OCs that I may not win, but it’s so hard- This is my small entry, I’m planning to do a couple because I am so determined XD Now here’s some things I’m planning to do with them/info I’ll give them if I win them! Name: Cobweb/Cobbi Pronouns: They/Them or She/Her, They/Them preference though Sexuality: Not sure Species: They aren’t too sure, but they assume they are just a spider-spinner Backstory: ohhhh get ready >:3 Cobweb never knew their true parents. Their earliest memory is when they were taken as a small child, unaware of the tasks to come. Hey didn’t think about it often though, because their work kept them distracted and distant. What work you may ask? But a spider-spinner’s work. Each day they would work with many spiders, weaving them their delicate homes from sticky, soft silk. It was fun when they were around 5-6, but as they got older, the demands would get higher. They were soon expected to weave around 150 webs per day, so they never slept. They hid their tired eyes from the horrid sights of the cave around them as they worked, for they and the spiders all feared the entities that lurked in every corner. If even one of them messed up, they would be… horribly punished. The stress and fear was too much for cobweb to handle… so they often would allow the spiders to bite her with their paralyzing fangs, relieving their pain for a bit. But after around their lonely 12th birthday, they awoke to the shadow entity to their head. They jumped, even though this was a familiar sight by now. The entity snapped at Cobweb, signaling them to start their miserable day. It was… odd. There was around 50 less spiders waiting for their delicate, soft webs. It was a relief that they didn’t have to do as much, but that was still 100 webs to make. Their muscles started to ease a bit as they weaved the sticky webs together. If they just focused on their job, they would slightly forget their surroundings. For around an hour into their day, it worked. That was until the silk that they used to make the webs disappear. A chill was sent down their spine as they watched one of the entities approach them. If it saw that they weren’t working… they didn’t want to imagine what would happen. Much to their surprise, the entity didn’t notice that they where stopped. Instead, it came up behind Cobweb, and scanned their already made webs. After a couple heartbeats of fear, the entity made a low, grumbling noise that made Cobweb’s fur stand on end. The entity beckoned them to follow it with its long, shadowy finger. Without thinking, Cobweb followed it into an odd room. It had a ton of gadgets, weapons, chains, and… skulls. This was NOT a good sign. The entity picked up a rather big HUMAN skull, and mumbled something to it. Much to Cobweb’s further concern and confusion, the skull started to float over to them. The entity made a high screeching noise that nearly made Cobweb deaf. The soulless skull replaced to Cobweb after the screeching was done in a bone-chilling voice; “He says that you have been promoted to a spider-spinner rank 10. After you reach that rank, you can go outside and… collect spiders. But so you don’t get any ideas of escape, /I/ shall accompany you to the outside world.” It exclaimed. ———After some boring explanation and walking——— Cobweb… never thought they would see the outside, Not to mention with a soul-sucking demon of a skull following them. The outside was SO. BRIGHT. The odd ball of brightness in the sky was so hard to look at. After a bit, their eyes adjusted to the light, and they began to wander around. Cobweb and the skull eventually walked into a small… civilization? Town? Camp? They had no idea. They began to wander into the town-camp thingy, but not going far without someone jumping in from of them. “Oh little one… where you you think you’re going?” ———End of part 1——— PHEW- THAT TOOK 3 DAYS TO WRITE. 3. DAYS. Dear StarClan I hope you enjoyed it-
