This may make people uncomfortable because it discusses being used in some way. ---Take from me--- By: Simon Take from me Take my hope to hope for yourself To find meaning in the meaningless things Take the knowledge I’ve suffered to gain Learn what I have and do not worry about the pain you need not feel Grasp my very being and ring out the things you need Use my mind to think for yourself Use my eyes to perceive the world with all the hardships I have seen Take my tongue and use the words I say to get what you need and even take away Have my nose to smell the things I find appealing Smell the scent of freshly baked bread wafting through the home Replace my skin with yours and take the sensation of how I feel the world Take my scars and markings to define yourself Give me your heart and I’ll give you mine so you no longer have a stone in your chest Take my feelings to replace your own Feel the happiness I feel Feel the anger coursing through your veins Embrace the tears that fall down your soft cheeks Feel uncertain and fear for your being Take from me Take the things I enjoy to find feeling for yourself Take the words others say so that you may feel confident in yourself Take what I give you and do not give it back Take the good from me to make it your own Take what I am Take what I will be Close your eyes and endure my hardships, my achievements and myself Take what you need and I will not ask anything of you Take and Take and walk away Travel into the world with a new face, with a new being and enjoy the feeling of being you I gave you life and I will watch you enjoy it Take from me Hope you enjoyed! :D
