(WAL) also im making her a cait sith from scottish mythology lol (you might also find it as cait sidhe from irish mythology, but overall its celtic, so there is many themes of that in the story) also bruh theres like nothing about them theyre basically witches (or faeries) that turn into a cat 9 times and are malevolent so they have something to do with the dead. AND theyre one of the causes for the universal myth that cats have 9 lives. LORE DUMP:: so i was thinking thaat in wizard land, magic comes from faeries and transportation is through faery rings, which can trap users so you have to wear a hat backwards or have silver with you. SO i was thinking that the world is in a dystopia because of magic war between human witches and faeries and because of abandonment of government, all students live on campus. They all live on campus because the world is very dangerous and the woods are very remote. Winifred had a friend for a super long time that sorta goes missing during all the chaos and Win gets caught by teachers and is kept on campus until chaos settles, and she's kept under suspicion because no one's sure if cait siths are witches or faeries and either way they thrive off death, and on top of that, they have a reputation of being spies because of their unique abilities. She is overall distracted and aggressive toward students who don't like her anyway, and she often sneaks out at night to investigate the disappearance of her friend. theres one other girl who'll talk to her anyway, and her name is ruth or something and she's super chatty and chooses to ignore social cues. so Win and Ruth work together, and Win also meets this cat she talks to who works with her. Later on, the school decides they can make the most of the fact they're a school so they force her to go to classes and learn the 'witch way of things' so she'll be too tired to sneak out. While they know this happens, there is nothing they can really do about it. they also do this because Ruth cares too much about her grades, and Win starts helping her with work. through this, they become closer and Win cares about Ruth more. As this happens, Win starts doubting that her (before (not ruth) friend is not on her side as she learns more from gangs. They get nervous when she asks about them, and her spy cat friend is saying that these gangs are working together to fight an enemy together. idk what happens after this but tell me if you liked it
