Happy Thanksgiving, guys! So. Thanksgiving is today, and as I make this, I am waiting for the turkey to cook. :) Comment _pizza_ in the comments if Pumpkin Pie is the best. :D Thanksgiving is a celebration of our thanks with food and fun. But there is a deeper meaning inside of that. Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks for our ancestor's successful landings on our soil. The (simplified, short) story of our ancestor's journey is below: One fine day, men and children from England or something sailed on the Mayflower. The Mayflower was the huge ship. But as they crossed, they ran into some trouble into a storm, and a beam broke in their ship. If they didn't do something fast, their ship would sink. So they ended of securing the beam, and landed on America. In America, several men , women, and children passed away. Everyone was desperate. Then one day, an Indian named Squanto told them how to farm, and catch fish. And then they lived. And stuff. Boy am I bad at endings. xD But anyway: I made this very very very very long description to ask you to understand Thanksgiving better. Thanksgiving isn't just about food, it's about being thankful. So, I'll I'm asking is that today, or whenever you read this, think of something you're thankful for. Because this is what Thanksgiving is really about. Giving thanks.
