Today, We remember all the lives that have died on September 11th 2001 terrorists attacked the United States of America. The attacks were carried out by al Qaeda. Osama bin Laden was the leader of the attacks. 19 terrorists hijacked 4 planes the first two planes crashed into the twin towers in the world trade center in New York City killing nearly 3,000 people. The third team succeeded in crashing into the Pentagon, the headquarters of the U.S. Department of Defense in Arlington County, Virginia. However the 4th hijacked plane did NOT succeed the passengers had received phone calls of the towers and Pentagon being hit, so they stormed the cockpit and the plane came crashing down in a field in Pennsylvania. Every single person in the plane died. And don't forget all the people that risked their lives to save others they didn't even know.
