These are only the main characters so far, and I still have some other important characters that I have yet to draw!! ✮ I'm sorry if the stuff I wrote for their personalities is too much to read klsfjkdsjf ✮ Btw, they are all part of my series Paraphysical Occurrences and I'll likely make a more in-depth introduction project to the series but for now just know that 1. these characters are all detectives who study paranormal cases and 2. they live in the town of Paraphys that's well-known for its paranormal activity [ ⋙ Character info ] Optimum: (designed by @EveEditor) ✮ Name: Optimum Vee Brez ✮ Gender: Male ✮ Orientation: Aro/Ace ✮ Pronouns: He/him ✮ Personality: Optimum acts cautious and likes to play it safe. He is quite scared to take risks at times and just wants to get things over with. Ironically, he's also a bit of a scaredy-cat, and is pretty easily disturbed by the ghosts and paranormal occurrences he often encounters in his cases. He is pretty quiet and a bit shy, and when he's scared or anxious he often talks with a stutter. Despite him getting scared easily, he finds a sense of fascination or even morbid curiosity from the paranormal cases he investigates. He often obsesses over work, and even neglects some of his basic needs at times due to him feeling pressured to not let others down. He's also extremely introverted and not good at communicating with other people. ✮ Likes: Being alone, reading (he enjoys many genres of literature), watching TV, drawing (although he... isn't very good at it...) ✮ Dislikes: Violence, profanity, talking or collaborating with others, having nothing to do Izzy: ✮ Name: Izzy Jay Frensburg ✮ Gender: Female ✮ Orientation: Straight ✮ Pronouns: She/her ✮ Personality: Izzy is always determined and optimistic and loves solving cases even if it means that she'll get herself into danger. Because of this, however, she sometimes ends up being reckless and getting herself into not-so-good situations to be in. This is becomes further a problem with her looking at paranormal activity; dealing with ghosts is not for the faint of heart! She loves exploring random topics that happen to catch her interest as well and it can be quite hard for her to change her attention to anything else if she's hyper-fixating on anything. She is also quite stubborn, and will do a lot to prove her point on anything she cares about. She has a strong sense of justice, and is also very forgiving of others, believing that "everybody deserves a second chance". ✮ Likes: Ghosts and the paranormal in general, her job (good for her), Zhiros and Frei (as close friends), learning about history, Optimum (she cares for him, although it's kinda one-sided) ✮ Dislikes: Cheating and lying, drama, arguments, loneliness, seeing others sad Frei: ✮ Name: Frei ✮ Gender: Non-binary ✮ Orientation: Unlabeled ✮ Pronouns: They/them ✮ They're a time demon. What is a time demon (it's something I made up lol)? Well, sometimes, when a dead character is "revived" as a ghost, they are revived in a strange way, where they are "stuck in time" from when they died. They also remember their last moments/when they died only as if it was a strange dream and everything else about when they were alive they completely forget. They also sometimes randomly repeat lines randomly from when they were dying, but not know that they said something random after. For Frei, they froze to death, so they have un-meltable ice on their body and are constantly cold. They also sometimes make comments about how cold it is for the random repeated lines. Frei is aware they're undead, but they don't know that they're a time demon and thus have no idea that they died by freezing to death. Zhiros: (designed by @-Hollyfang-) ✮ Name: Zhiros Tray Katerine ✮ Gender: "Who?" ✮ Orientation: Questioning ✮ Pronouns: Any (most people just use he/him) ✮ Personality: He acts quite kooky/eccentric and is sometimes oblivious to seemingly easy-to-spot things. Despite how it might seem though, he's smart and is good at thinking of clever solutions to even some of the trickiest problems. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to ghosts and paranormal subjects. He's well-known for publishing a journal about his findings at Paraphys. ✮ Likes: Studying paranormal activity, exploring, trying new things ✮ Dislikes: Close-minded or arrogant people, being annoyed, people saying ghosts aren't real ✮ Fun fact: He has a bit of an accent, although it's hard to really tell where it's from lol. ✮ this is too long to put credits sob (art + coding by me OCs belong to me)
