As most people know 9/11 was an attack on America, when two commercial planes were flown directly into the World trade center, also known as the 'Twin Towers', 1 plane to the pentagon, and if I remember correctly, the 4th plane was headed towards (presumably) the Whitehouse, but a passenger took control of the plane (by fending off the bad guy i think.) But tragically crashing the plane in a rural field. 2,996 people were killed that day. It's really sad. It's still remembered 23 years later. Really tragic.
