What I have so far! I changed the thumbnail to show Jane because I thought it made more sense. Art except thumb. is mine!
I thanked my servant and walked to the dining room. I was famished, and desperately needed sister time with Kat. When I entered, though, Father's seat was empty, and Kat was staring at his seat. "Katherine, where is Father?" I asked calmly. She didn't respond. "CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE DARKLIGHT, WHERE IS HONORABLE KING HENRY?" I sternly asked. She looked up at me. "Oh, Hi, Jane. Um-I don't know." "Is he late?" "No, he never is. Unless he drank too much the previous night." "He didn't, though. There wasn't a ball." "I know," Kat said, annoyed. "We knew that, little sis." I flinched at her words. She really must be mad today. "L-let's just start without him." I said. "Unless, of course, you want to wait for Lord Francis." Kat blushed and looked away. "No. It's okay. He'll arrive later." said Kat, and she walked to her spot, and I walked to mine. We didn't speak to each other for the entire meal, or until we sat down in the throne room, waiting for Francis. When Frank came, he smiled at us, and bowed. "Your Highness, thank you for inviting me." he said to Kat. I was always jealous of my older sister. She was far more beautiful than me, and her gray eyes always sparkled in the light. "You may rise, Frank." she said. He stood up, and looked at the empty throne. "Where is King Henry?" "We don't know." I said. "But, we will organize a search party. I will do that right now." I left, angry at myself for easily losing my temper. A princess must reign in her emotions, and never let them take the best of them. Mother always said that when she taught me. I missed her, so, so much.
