READ HERE Orbit looked around at the camp in his wolf form as Holly pack attacked. everyone was distracted with the battle in the camp it was his chance. A chance to have a better alpha it was time to put his plan in motion. Orbit stalked toward Lightnings den and then entered where a injured Lightning lay then looked up. "ah Orbit what is all the noise doing out there... Orbit?" Lightning narrowed his eyes as Orbit came closer "its time for a new alpha to take place" Orbit lunged at Lightning where Lightning rose to meet him and the two started fighting in wolf form. Orbit slashed to reopen Lightnings wound but Lightning fought back seeing the move coming and used his lightning on Orbit a wound on Orbits muzzle now and pain seared through Orbit as he jumped up and pinned down Lightning. "shouldve saved your energy for this Lightning... your weak and when your gone the pack will never feel defeat again!" he snarled this in Lightnings ear lowly, mint green lightning crackling softly around his paws then he delivered the killing blow. Lightning went limp underneath Orbit and Orbit stepped off of him and walked out of the den where the pack was still fighting Holly pack. Orbit jumped at the nearest Holly pack ultima and got engaged in a fight with him the two fought with there lightning until Orbit had tired him out and pinned him seeing he was the only Holly pack ultima left in camp. a thought appeared in his mind and called the pack toward him. "Lightning was killed by this ultima from Hollypack i saw it myself! This ultima has committed a crime to Gladepack and should be punished!" Orbits gaze swept over Glade pack then suddenly Astro in his human form ears pinned. "and your not alpha! Mist is to take over its not your decision for all we know you killed Lightning!" Astro glared at him and Orbits heart began to race wondering if he knew but stayed calm "then maybe we should call Mist over see her judgement on this..." he snarled lowly at Astro as Mist came over. "Orbit i trust that you did your best to fend off this ultima from Lightning" Mist said calmly in her human form the Holly pack ultima under Orbit was struggling to get away but wasnt able to get away he was Horizon a messenger, Holly pack must be running low on soldiers if they had a messenger fight in a battle. Horizon was in his wolf form he had rough black fur with sandy ears paws and tail tips with a sandy colored patch of fur over his eye. . Astro looked angry but Lemongrass who was next to him nudged him and murmured something to him shutting Astro down but he was still giving Orbit dirty looks. "I did my best to fend him off but i came in to late" Orbit said back to Mist "I believe this is punishable by death" Orbit spoke calmly as if he never even killed Lightning to him he was stuck in an icy calmness under water. Mist finally spoke up "well said, do the honors" Orbit nodded and looked down at the ultima and delivered the killing blow and the ultima went limp. Mist went into her wolf form and stood by Orbit then said "Lightning has died but we must not grieve we must move forward with this and i being alpha now should choose a beta to take over when i die" she looked at Orbit as if examining him then finally spoke after a few long moments "Orbit is to be the new beta for how bravely he fought in this battle and how he tried to defend the last alpha and i hope Lightnings spirit hears and approves my choice. Orbit do you promise to fight for your pack even at the cost of your life?" "I promise" Orbit said back the Pack welcomed there new beta and after they all broke off into their groups some congratulating Orbit as he walked in front of Astro and looked down at him. Astro looked up at him shaking a bit and went into his wolf form as Orbit did. "follow me. now,..." snarled Orbit. Orbit padded toward the exit of the camp making sure Astro was following before sprinting off from the ravine and into a large clearing in the forest and turning on Astro who was panting from the long sprint. it was night now and thundering a rare red moon shining through the clouds. Orbit began laughing noticing Astro flinching as Orbit laughed and suddenly he howled to the sky "this is my perfect victory! thats right! i win!" Orbit laughed this to the sky as lightning struck and thunder rumbled the ground as it began to downpour. Orbit turned to Astro and snarled at him "and you do not tell anyone about what happened to Lightning or i will come for you and hunt you down if its the last thing i do!" Orbit turned and ran back to the ravine as the thunder rumbled. *this was the beginning of something new* thought Orbit *soon I will rule the whole packs!*
