So I'm gonna send my teachers a coming out email, this is my second draft. i need opinions on if it's good or what you would change /nf "Hello, teachers. So, I’d like to share something important. I recently came out online as non binary and I’m starting to in real life too. I’d like to use they/them pronouns. My parents don’t know this specifically yet, but they do know about my sexuality, so I don’t feel unsafe sharing this. I’m still fine with going by Jocelyn, but I like Jay too. I know this is a bit odd to say in a weekend email, but just the thought of saying this repeatedly in a conversation makes me feel stressed. Please do not make an announcement to the whole class or anything, this is just so if you refer to me in class, please don’t use she/her. Please use they/them. For example: “Jocelyn looks like they’re confused right now,” instead of “Jocelyn looks like she’s confused right now.” I guess that’s all. Thank you so much."
