The PRR T1's Were 4-4-4-4 "Duplex" Locomotives Built by the PRR in 1945 For fast passenger service. unfortunately due to there size they could only run on the PRR's Main Line however the T1's despite having a very short career because of the emergence of the diesel locomotive proved that if given enough time they very well could have seen success with even some records of them occasionally breaking the speed record. Despite one T1 originally being held for preservation by the PRR the PRR was having a money problem at the time and decided to scrap it last moment getting rid of any examples this would prompt the start of the T1 Trust a non profit group dedicated to bringing a T1 back from the dead as of 2023 work on the boiler is finishing up.
