The NYC's S Motor's were made in 1904 by GE And served till the days of Penn Central they were used for moving car's and other jobs underground where steam was not allowed there career was nothing special but it was very very long always serving the one area of the system till it was no longer needed out of the 47 made only 2 survive and both are in need for restoration 4715 is one of those units.
