The K4's Are the official state steam engine of Pennsylvania (Being my home state) They were first built in 1914 and seeing revisions to the design in home done rebuild programs throughout the service life. The K4's Would set themselves as the main workhorse of the railroad doing just about any job needed. While later being proven to be not up to date in the late years of steam on the PRR The K4's Ran service till the end of steam with two ending up preserved one of those being 1361. The 1361 Would be put on the horseshoe curve for display and would later be brought back to service for a short while its currently undergoing a rebuild in altoona.
