So, this is Kowareta Furaito. (Means Broken Flight in Japanese) But her friends call her Ko. Ko doesn't live in any town or kingdom, but she used to live in the Jade kingdom. She used to be a norman pegasus, but while adventuring, she slipped and fell off a cliff into a ravine. Her front and back leg had to be amputated from the fall, because they were infected. Her chest was also severely injured. Thankfully, a Sea Hydra named Umi Tsubasa (Sea Wing in Japanese) saved her and taught her the ways of the water. After a long six weeks being healed by Umi, Ko decided to go back to her home in the Jade Kingdom. But the dragons and other creatures there didn't except the new version of Ko (without her legs) so she was declined her magic shop that she used to own. She trotted away, to find Umi again. But while she was walking to the ravine, she noticed a terrible storm approaching. She saw the ravine flooding and galloped as fast as she could to save Umi. But it was too late. Umi was being swept away into the darkness. Ko's last sight of Umi was her limp body being swept off a waterfall. "NO!" Ko screamed. But Umi was long gone. She now lives a life of dread, fearing all water (Despite her great power of using it) in the outskirts of the Afora's mountains, just below the ravine where her friend was taken away. Ko believes that whenever she sleeps near the ravine, she can sense Umi's spirit within her. While looking around the outskirts of the Afora Mountains, Ko meets some locals there and sees humans for the first time. She meets all of the people and dragons there, and they accept her. She vows to protect the Afora Mountains, with Umi's spirit by her side.
