Blackhole raced through the forest in his wolf form ears pinned as he chased a deer, a young buck in fact and he knew well that if he caught it, it would feed Glade pack well that night. he continued chasing after the deer aware of the rest of the hunting patrol taking their places around the deer, he caught a glimpse of a familiar ultima in wolf form with blue ears paws tail and stripes on her legs named Moondrop as she raced next to the deer and caught another glimpse a ultima in wolf form on the other side of the deer with bright orange ears paws tail with a bright orange under belly named Dawn. the two of them have raced ahead of Blackhole to get beside the deer and they were both getting closer to the sides of the deer ready to strike as they ran on trees flashing past them. Blackhole thought he saw something a shadow in the forest... he kept on running his eyes fixed on the spot, a warning call sounded from Dawn snapping Blackhole back to the hunt and nearly fell over as he saw that the deer had turned to fight Blackhole and dodged just as the deer almost brought its hooves down on him and at the moment Moondrop and Dawn came from both sides of it and jumped at it red and orange lightning crackling as they clawed at the deer. Blackhole jumped at the deers neck as it was distracted and brought it down with a bite and as he sank his teeth he tasted the tang of deer blood and meat. when it died from the bite Blackhole let go and looked at Dawn and Moondrop ready to thank them but didn't say anything as he was met by the two in human form Moondrop with black wolf ears and tail tipped blue and Dawn with black wolf ears and tail tipped with bright orange and both equally angry. Blackhole went into his human form revealing black wolf ears and tail tipped with a unusual blue gray purple color. "why are you looking at me like that?" he asked knowing what the answer would be instantly, Moondrop narrowed her eyes and got ready to say something sarcastic but Dawn gave her a warning punch in the shoulder and spoke up instead of Moondrop "you put your life in danger your a more experienced and older ultima then us, you should know the dangers of taking the eyes off your prey since it could turn on you at any given moment" Dawn stared at him seriously while Moondrop seemed irritated "Im pretty sure i saw something... in the shadows" Blackhole began but was interrupted by Moondrop "pretty sure? you would risk your life on pretty sure? Gladepack territtory hasnt been intruded for a long time time, speaking of which the battle patrol should be coming back from fighting Willowpack on the border lets go meet them!" Moondrop went back into her wolf form and approached the dead buck Dawn doing the the same and the two picked it up and began dragging it. Blackhole sighed inwardly and still breathing heavily from his race through the forest to hunt the deer and ran on ahead to the camp. when he entered he saw the other ultimas some in human form some in wolf form pacing and murmuring anxiously as they waited for the battle patrol to come back, a few minutes later Moondrop and Dawn came back with the buck and dragged it to the edge of the camp and broke off into there usual things Blackhole shook his head it was a hot day out and he had ran in both human form and wolf form in the day light and now the sun was above them unleashing its relentless heat on the forest. hours later the battle patrol arrived led by Mist in her human form looking beat up wounded and exhausted. the pack raced to meet them shocked by their appearence on how they looked. Orbit came out of the shadows just behind the patrol in wolf form growling lowly to himself shaking his head. a familiar ultima in human form with black wolf ears and tail tipped with a yellowish-white stepped out of the crowd, it was the alpha of the pack lightning. "Mist what happened you guys look like you were dragged across the forest floor and Dusk and Rosemist came back half-dead... Dusk didnt make it." Blackholes mind began to race this was bad they were already low on soldiers and had two apprentices, he looked around and saw Dusks sister Dawn her eyes narrowed angrily "who killed him!" she snarled a few more ultimas behind her angry for a packmates death and they stalked to a corner in the clearing and talked lowly ears pinned. Blackhole felt unsettled by the way they were acting but then Mist said "we lost the battle sadly" her voice was grave as she said this but then Lightning stepped into the middle of the clearing where ultimas gathered in front of him. "we lost a brave soldier today and need more soldiers than ever so its time that a pup became an apprentice" Blackhole stared at lightning, *he never talked to anyone about having an apprentice he must be doing this to distract the pack* he thought. "Astro come forward" Lightning called and a ultima about 10 came forward in wolf form. he was black with silver ears paws tail and a silver dot on his chest. then
