[you've found an egg!] -------------- warrior cats roleplay ideas -------------- 1. a randomly selected hierarchy. this theme is when one or two (two is recommended) character(s) are randomly selected to become the 'elites' of a clan. they order everyone around, and are assisted by the 'soldiers' (obviously you can change the names of the groups). The soldiers are a group of the clan's strongest warriors, but they still obey the elite(s). the 'meagers' are the lowest of the low, a large group of elders, queens, kits, apprentices, and warriors who aren't soldiers. elites can choose their successors, and rank the lowers (all cats lower than elites). even if a cat is a soldier, they can be downgraded to a meager, or a warrior/apprentice can become a soldier on an elite's orders. soldiers who become queens go back to being a soldier after their kits become apprentices. All meagers aim to become a soldier, and all soldiers aim to become an elite. however, the system causes tension among the clan. will the meagers rebel? are there enough soldiers to hold them back? 2. winning group. during a devastating winter, a clan was left both leader and deputyless. two main contenders for leadership fought, and one won. although the leader has done the best they can, there is still a clear divide between the two groups that backed each contender. tension is running high, mates have broken up and families have been torn apart. what will happen next? will the losing side leave? will they attempt to overthrow the leadership? 3. climate change. this is currently a huge problem for everyone. when a clan that, for example, relies on snow, begins to experience changes in the weather, things begin changing. their snow is melting, and they are struggling to adapt. they have no experience without snow and are suffering. how are they going to solve their problem when the clan is starving and/or dehydrated? 4. there's a corrupt clan. some of the warriors aspire to be like the leaders, which are a group of warriors: strong, brave, fierce. others hate the rules and want to escape. this causes a split between the clan, and the elites watch closely over the ones who dislike the rules, and have spies among them. however, tension is building and rebellion is bubbling. what will happen next? tip: make sure there's not many elites, and only one or two spies. 5. disasters. where the clan lives, there are many natural disasters (volcanic eruptions, landslides etc.) and cats frequently disappear. patrols are sent out to rescue missing cats who have been lost during the disasters, and sometimes they don't come back. the host needs to choose who is in the patrols, who goes missing, and important events like that. tip: let users have several characters, as many disappear frequently. 6. buried. due to questionable twoleg activity, the cats are forced underground. occasionally, large patrols are sent out to scope potential land, but they are rarely sent out since it is very dangerous. prey is scarce, however, and the cats are forced to hunt. lots of the time, hunters don't come back. will the clan survive? can they figure out what happened to their missing clanmates? will they ever be able to live in harmony with the twolegs? 7. oasis. the thriving clan lives in a lush valley, full of prey. however, surrounding the valley is a mysterious fog that none of the cats have dared enter. when the mist begins expanding, the clan's territory is swallowed up. they only have one choice: enter the fog. but what's lurking inside? how will the clan survive? 8. dark forest. your clan has been taken over by the dark forest. All cats train under the rule of the senior cats. the leader is the most ruthless, cruel and power-hungry cat the land has ever known. whilst many ambitious cats support the leadership, rebellion is bubbling. will the secret rebels be able to overthrow the current ruler? 9. cruel season. winter is extremely harsh. your clan loses many cats to the frost, and prey runs scarce. your leader is forced to make a choice. but how will your clan survive this cruel season? 10. lost souls. your clan lives in peace. however, there's a dark twist. none of the cats have souls, but they don't realise it. none of them love or hate so there are no new kits. when it finally impacted the clan, a patrol of warriors were sent to look for the cause of the problem. back in the clan, tension is arising after moons of harmony. how will they survive? will they ever discover what the true problem is? Prophecy roleplays. Prophecy rps make one character the main, and all the other cats get no attention. It's an extremely unoriginal theme as well. 2. Creating new Clans. This is a very overused theme for roleplays. However, if it's /not/ about the new Clan(s) and how they adapt, that usually is fine. 3. Magic. There are usually overpowered cats which makes the rp unfair and not fun. Plus, main roleplays usually die down quickly.
