EDIT: I added some new photos, now you can see how much the scales have grown back! PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS IF YOU WANNA HELP: My betta, Lapis, this morning was perfectly fine. I come back to my room from feeding my goldfish and find that Lapis has a HUGE gash in her head that is really deep. So deep that I think I might be seeing her skull. I just hope she will be ok :( I dosed the tank with quite a lot of methylene blue so that I can prevent any further injuries such as infections or parasites. She is acting perfectly normal, swimming a lot, her dorsal fin isn’t slumped, she has a big appetite still, she is doing everything she normally does. I think she got stuck in the middle of my driftwood and struggled too much that she hurt her head. Please pray for her to get better and help me with anything I should do! Ty for any suggestions.. I rlly don’t wanna lose another fish, please..
