***Please read all instructions*** Map: Arrow keys to move. Jumping and using the Hammer is not an option yet Battle: Click on one of the options and follow the instructions to increase damage. Jump (Mario and Jr. Troopa): Press space when you're about to stomp the enemy to attack twice. Hammer (Mario): Press space when the red dot flashes to double the damage. Tattle (Jr. Troopa): Go through the dialogue and memorize what enemies do. Nothing special. Block: Press space before an enemy attacks you to decrease the damage taken. Defeating Enemies: Reduce the enemies health to 0 to defeat it. Game Over: This happens when Mario reaches 0 health. Progression: There are no more areas as of yet, but you can increase your EXP by defeating Goombas. The intended way: A cutscene shows at first. After that, go through the passage where a cutscene will follow. Heal on the first turn, then defeat the Goomba. There's three more, so you can defeat them. You can only get 20 EXP at the moment.
Took a while to share this because things kept breaking every 30 minutes >:( - Changed the enemy spawning system. Now each enemy has its own unique id, and when it gets defeated that id is added to a list so the project knows not to respawn the enemy again. - Added Koopas and Spinies (take the cloned ones out in the next update. They're only there right now in the second area to test that they actually work) - Added a victory jingle when you win a battle (music by me) - Added more sound effects
