Name ~ Mavis Breed ~ Pitbull terrier mutt Age ~ 1 1/2 years Personality ~ very adventurous, kind, impatient, loyal, over enthusiastic Backstory ~ Mavis has always been a street dog. Her mom was an escaped pitbull terrier and her dad was the most mutt looking dog you've ever seen. She had two brothers and a sister but sadly only she and her brother survived their first year. They were pretty well fed and healthy. Mavis's parents taught her everything she would need to know from places that always had overflowing trash cans of food, to what dogs she should avoid, to what days she could go to the farmers market for if and when she wanted to go find another group of dogs. And once she was nearing a year and a half she did. As a parting gift her mom gave Mavis her purple bandana she had gotten from her owners. The rest of her family each left a pawprint on it so Mavis could always remember them. After about a week of eating out of trash cans and begging random humans to feed her, Mavis spotted a small dog she recognized! Well they weren’t really that small. Maybe four or five inches shorter than she was. Suddenly flashbacks take over her mind. Images of this dog showing little puppy Mavis their favorite type of pizza the humans throw out, them playing with her and Bandit after bumping into them at the farmers market, and them finally introducing themselves. Mavis realized this was who made her feel safe. This was Scout. A new voice snaps her back to reality. “Hey, uh were’s Bandit and your parents?” “Oh, uh they’re back at our- their place,” she quickly replied. There’s a moment of silence while Scout thinks. She then says “Well you can always come and join La gondala.” Mavis nodded, and with that the two childhood friends left. Name ~ Bandit Breed ~ Pitbull terrier mutt Age ~ 1 1/2 years Personality ~ loving, overprotective, always worried, kind Backstory ~ Mavis had just left him and their family. Bandit was in shambles, he didn’t know what to do. She had always been there to play with him, eat with him, and do everything with him. Of course he had supported Mavis been she left, she was strong and knew how to take care of herself. Bandit wished he had gone with her when she offered maybe then she would be safer. What was he thinking! Maybe Mavis went with that dog, uh, Scout he thinks. Eventually he decided he was going to go too. Bandit said his long goodbyes to his mom and dad, and he left. It had been over a week since Mavis left so he bet he wasn’t going to see her wandering the streets alone. After leaving he what Mavis did - eat out of trash cans, beg humans for food, and look for other dogs. After Bandit’s fourth night he wakes to the sight of two rottweilers standing tall over him. He shot to his feet and backed away, but realized these dogs might have seen Mavis. “Maybe, we had a knew dog join our group recently never caught their name though. Now let us speak,” one of them said harshly. They take a few steps back from him and speak in hushed voices. Bandit caught a few word like he could be useful, he was so scared, and give him a week. They slowly approach him introduce themselves and invite him to join their group. Bandit wondered why they would want him, but said yes because he had to find Mavis. Name ~ Rose Breed ~ Pitbull terrier mutt Age ~ 1 1/2 years Personality ~ Brave, kind, strong, stubborn, smart Backstory ~ Thorn was alone. The rottweilers had killed her family. She was part of El Canal. Not really though. She was stolen from her family. She loved Sky. This was what Thorn told herself everyday, because sometimes days, memories, even other dogs would start slowly slipping away. This was until today when she saw Bandit - who she believed was dead - walking around with the rottweilers. “Rose!” He called, but she didn’t answer. Maybe it was because she had forgotten her past name or maybe she didn’t know what to say. Thorn, err, “Rose now again” she thought, went to sleep not knowing what to think. The next day Bandit approached her and she ended up blurting questions out, like was Mavis ok, what about their parents, how had they been they past seven months. This went on and on, the answering and asking of questions between them, until Sky walk by and her eyes were stuck on him. Slightly blushing she excused herself a Rose walked away. She was about to go spy on La gondala for the first time, and she was even doing it with Sky! They sped walked over to were the group lived and waited. To be honest Rose thought it was boring but she and Sky whispered to each other until they saw a border collie followed by a strangely familiar mutt come out. Once she heard her voice she almost screamed Mavis’s name. Well Rose had let half the name slip, and that was when they looked up and she fell.
