---Overview--- This series is entirely based on Terraria and The Calamity Mod. It follows a group of prophesized heroes, sent to save their world from the different threats plaguing it. They may be the fabled heroes, but they have a long way before they can take on the ancient evils and the great tyrant. ---Meet The Crew--- The 5 heroes are based on the different classes in Terraria and The Calamity Mod. Melee, Ranger, Mage, Summoner, and Rogue. -Martial- descending from an ancient and long lost breed of Dragonborn, Martial always knew about his destiny to save Terraria from the evil's overcoming it. He trained from a young age under the watchful eye of The Guide, mastering the art of the blade and even finding intuitive ways to utilize absurd objects as weapons such as YoYo's or raw fish. When Martial was ready to start his mission, and he and his trainer arrived on the afflicted lands, he heard an ancient voice ringing in his mind, beckoning him forward into his journey. And as Martial headed the voice and started setting up base, he met the 4 other gang members. Martial is the leader of the group, stoically commanding his allies and working to keep things running in order. Doing so has led to him being incredibly tired and overworked however. -Rivet- Rivet was a long lost construction of Draedon, originally built as a prototype for mechanical soldiers to explore the Astral Infection. But when Draedon came up with Austreum Aureus, the idea of the mechanical explorers was abandoned and Rivet was left as one of a kind. Recently, Rivet came back online thanks to the actions of a careless Repair Unit. After looting around the lab and finding an old gun, Rivet blasted his way out of the icy lab and made his way into the woods where he'd meet the crew, joining as the teams ranger. Rivet is a very light hearted and cocky guy, only being serious when absolutely necessary and doing a lot to keep the mood light. He aggressively pushes his friends to do things they're nervous about doing, and he's also a hopeless romantic. -Misty- Misty was born on a not so distant planet of cosmic people of blackfire. These people were noble magic users, plenty of them devoting their lives to studying the ancient arts. However, everything changed the The Devourer of Gods attacked. As it was destroying and consuming the world and it's population, Misty barely managed to flee into an escape pod and watch from the window as her world was consumed by this insatiable glutton. Crash landing on the world of Terraria, she clutched her spell book to her chest and sat in the woods, trying to comprehend what had happened. Eventually, her train of thought was broken by a wandering explorer who sat with her and started chatting. His name was Star, a summoner, and the two sat and talk until a wandering Martial found them and brought them back to his camp. Misty is very self conscious about her looks and self-worth, resulting in her having a tsundere-like attitude and pushing people away, not wanting her weaknesses to show. She's desperate to prove to others and herself that she is capable of being a hero and she desperately wants slaying The Devourer to be her ultimate achievement. -Star- backstory is kinda a W.I.P Star is the happy go lucky bean of the group, always trying to keep things positive. He wants to do whatever he can to support his friends and make their lives easier. He has a major problem commanding his summons and he often struggles in combat. This results in him getting flack from Misty and Risk, Martial needing to do more work in fights, and causing Rivet to make a lot of jokes at Star's expense.
-Risk- Once a soldier among the ranks of Yharim, Risk always thought he was above his fellow men. He often ditched battle to go loot enemy corpses and storage units, resulting in him getting several harsh punishments. Once Risk was on his final straw, one wrong move away from execution, Risk heard a voice. It wasn't Yharim's voice, it wasn't a voice he recognized. It was a dark voice that told Risk he was worth more. It told Risk to ditch Yharim, grow his strength, and become the new overlord. Risk was told he was worth so much more, that he was capable of being in Yharim's position, if not more. After that, Risk went rogue (ba dum tss) and ran away from Yharim's army and began plotting to become the greatest legend Terraria had ever seen. He found the team, and joined their ranks, planning to use them to gain loot and glory, biding his time until they were all ready to face Yharim himself. After that, he would be in the position he deserved. And maybe, just maybe, he could earn so much more than just that. Risk is a really bad teammate, always pushing his team to do morally questionable acts just so they can get stronger. He hates it when his calls are questioned and he has an undying need for control. He especially hates Star for being a big pacifist and being a bit harder to manipulate compared to the other team members.
