To add this to your project, just backpack the mobile detector. If your device is not running Windows, it will be detected as mobile. Maybe I'll do ChromeOS support too, but it's not likely. If you use this, make sure to credit me! HOW IT WORKS: This project relies heavily on the costume named Wingdings. Wingdings is a font. It's a strange font. It has no letters, only symbols and icons, and it's a lot bigger than most fonts. Most computers have this font. Your phone does not have this font. Because of this, it can't render text with the Wingdings font applied. It'll instead use a fallback font. This fallback font just happens to be much smaller than Wingdings. My project can detect this size difference, and if the font is smaller you're likely using a mobile device. Summary: Wingdings big, fallback small, small = phone.
It just happens THIS: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/463306279/ project found the same method as me. Nice! Tags (I'm gonna add tags to my projects; tags added on 8/15/2023) #Mobile #PC #MacCompatible #Engine #Detector #Fonts
