How to Get People to See Your Projects (Respectfully!) [Space or click to advance] I'm occasionally asked how to get project views and how I "get people to see my projects" so here y'all go, a more in depth explanation :) Idk if this is new news for anybody but ehh if i can help one underrated person get found it will have been worth it! <3 [I've probably forgotten some important detail I meant to mention but this is what I can think of for the moment.] Some helpful links: As far as thumbnails go, there are a number of ways to make good, accurate thumbnails. Generally, the key is to indicate what your project is about without too much clutter. Having a nice color scheme or art style is useful, but not a necessity :) Here are some different ways to make good thumbnails: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/786607460/ https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/582603142/ https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/693843897/ If you want to advertise your projects in a studio, consider checking out some other folks' projects in return! :) Here are some places you can show your projects: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/8/ https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/5811731 https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/3248433 https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/31796/comments **The most effective "advertising" is when you add it to a studio relevant to your project! Always check what sorts of projects a studio allows before adding your projects, but finding fitting studios is the best possible way to "advertise" your projects! :) It's always good to make friends on scratch, so here are some of my personal favorite places to get to know people: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/146521/comments https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/6/ https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/29/ ** a great way to get to know people is by chatting with them on their profile page! Even just popping by to say hello is usually quite appreciated, especially by people who don't have a lot of followers! Collaborating on projects is a great way to make friends too, and improve your projects! Here are some places to find collaborative people and projects: (Any collaboration! - anything!) https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/10/ (Open contests - variety of game/art contests!) https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/230339/ (Open MAP studios - Art/animation) https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/1185442/ https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/1010144/ https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/1385524/ (Open DMCs/DTAs - art) https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/29932877/ https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/5986864/ https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/5805577/ (Open voice auditions - voice acting) https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/515159 https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/1155342/ https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/2928827 If you want to collaborate on games, it's usually easiest to find someone you would like to collab with and just ask them on their profile! There don't seem to be many specific spaces dedicated to game collabs. Hope this all helps! <3
