---WARNING--- The following contains FLASHING LIGHTS, VIOLENCE, QUICK MOVEMENTS, and BRIGHT COLORS Viewer discretion is advised --- I rant abt literally anything --- - I actually really like this- like really reALLY LIKE THIS- - I wouldn't say it's as good as the House of Memories or KILMER but yknow- it's good for what it is - I decided to try doing head bops again which was fun and very much convenient :sunglasses: - I REDESIGNED BUDGET!! Some of you might not know but originally I had this weird doodle of a duck called Talkaboutabudget and his whole gimmick was that he was an ugly duck. I later turned him into a human and decided "Well ig he can go into the reality cast why not" I never really DREW him before. I made like a makeshift reference sheet and made lore for him but overall his design stayed the same because I never had to use him... until now - BUDGETS ORIGINAL HUMAN DESIGN WAS SO UGLY- OMG HE LOOKED LIKE A BROWN VERSION OF JUSTIN BIEBER- Anyways- Yeah redesigning his hair was the hardest part. I'm still not so sure abt the hairstyle I gave him. I wanted to keep the design as something simple that I could redraw over and over but I also felt like considering what I was going for (Curly man bun :drool:) I could have done way better- I based his hair off of Hobie from Across the Spiderverse and Darius from TOH, can you see the resemblance? /j His outfits n stuff were pretty easy, his usual outfit, his sleep/chill outfit, and his BATTLE WEAR!!! I like the battle wear- - ALSO FOR ANY OF YOU FREAKS THAT PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL- MENTHA HAS NO WING EARS IN THE SECOND HALF BECAUSE I DECIDED THEY'RE USELESS! I really gotta make an official reference sheet for Mentha- - Also also, if you read this far I- I hope u liked my rant :flushed: - Also also also, I'm actually trying to write the entire lore of my OCs, so far I've done 15 chapters of The Mindscape (Joy, Vi, Love, those goobers) and I'm tryna shave off the first chapter of The Collectors (Adhikara and Carlos the dawg). I usually post the chapters on my TH, Watp(filterbot), and I'm planning on posting them to scratch if it gets enough support - Also also also ALSO, this might (MIGHT) be the last time I am REALLY active on scratch. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE animating and I love the community on this site but my content is becoming too PG-13 for the little minds of this place. I'll definitely be more active on my youtube channel from here on (Search up Parkerlot-dot-exe) and at most I'll be using scratch for archiving my animations (since I animate on turbowarp and upload to yt) - I love y'all for the support you've given me over the years, it's genuinely amazing. If you're new this is the part where I ramble about the story behind the animation. Let's get started. Ahem... Long ago in the ancient year of 2010, a 3rd grade teacher assigned her class to do partner work. One of the assigned groups would be Donovan and Chad Cholygloom. This was their first time meeting, and Don was very curious over why Chad didn't speak a lot, so he decided to keep spending time with him. Soon enough their friendship turned into something more and after they graduated high school they got an apartment nearby the college they got accepted into. During their final year of college, Chad got a text from his best friend, Blue Asamane. Blue lived in Michigan while our couple lived in Rhode Island. In the non specific city Blue lived in, there was a murderer on the loose, it got so bad that the city planned an evacuation, but some (Including Blue) stayed behind. These texts stressed Chad out, and Don tried to get him to stop talking to her but he wouldn't budge. The final text Blue sent was a request for them to go to Michigan in case anything happened. Chad immediately packed his things and got ready to leave despite Don being against the idea. A week after their arrival, Don found something mysterious. A sapphire lying inside an alleyway, and it had a mysterious vine growing out the side. He picked it up but quickly dropped it when it shined bright and turned into a human, Adhikara Asamane. Adhikara tricked Don into thinking he was a hero and that he was supposed to kill an evil force that caused all his and others' problems. He believed her and was given the soul of Mentha Spear so he could have his powers. 6 months later, Chad figured that Don was right, maybe he should stop talking to Blue, so he started talking to someone who he knew would have answers, Alexia. Alexia was his little sister, and he heard she got stuck in Michigan a while back. To his surprise, she was still in the city, and he told him to not visit until she figured some issues out. And so the lonely man waited... and waited... and waited. Finally, a year after they moved to Michigan, Don told Chad that he was going to go out for a bit. He didn't return for 2 weeks. That was Chad's breaking point, and that was also when he got a certain text from Alexia. Don was gone for so long because on the day he left he suited up and went to fight the evil. He found out that it was Blue all along and that Adhikara was pulling the strings so she could be entertained by the fight. Don tried to reason with Blue but failed and they fought until Don won. Blue was stabbed, but this didn't make Adhikara happy, in fact, it terrified her. She teleported Don all the way to the other side of the city and he had to walk all the way back to the apartment. Once he arrived, he was covered in injuries, but Chad didn't notice until after he went on a rant about how he left without saying anything important. Don got so mad at him that he grabbed him by the collar and told him to not be like that when he was also making stupid decisions throughout the year. Don left after but then he felt a sharp pain in his chest. The soul he took was leaving him, Mentha was coming into their world. Mentha was friendly at first, he apologized for hurting Don and made him soup, and they spent 2 months together looking for Blue, Adhikara, or both. At one point they found something terrifying, Chad was dead, hidden in an alleyway, and had the mark of Adhikara's necklace charm on his hand. Don realized that Blue was going to be a serious threat from here on, but at least he had Mentha's power... until something happened. As time went on after that, Don started noticing Mentha... changing. He would get jittery, he would mumble to himself, and he would look at the sky almost constantly. Mentha finally broke when he saw a flash of pink in the sky and he started screaming to see "her". Don tried to pull him away from whatever he saw but he kept getting more aggressive until he electrocuted his hand and sliced him in the chest. For those who don't know, Mentha has a mimic power, he can replicate any power as long as he's seen it in action several times before. The powers he mimicked were Love's electricity powers and Joy's creation powers. Speaking of Love, he was obsessing over finding her because he found out that she escaped the Mindscape. Back to Don- in his final moments he saw Chad, Mentha, and Adhikara mocking him as he fell to the ground and died, the end :]
