Thought id post this so I wont forget to post my story XD Anyways enjoy! Picture a place where no colors existed and nothing existed but pens and paper. A blank canvas where you get to be the god of your own world. This was the world Rem lived in. She was holding a pencil to a sheet of white paper that had floated past her. As she stared at the white sheet she sighed. Life had become lonely with no one to talk to and nothing to do but draw and write. Where her pen used to draw magical worlds and write beautiful poems. She felt defeated, this was the first time she was ever out of things to create. She just wished she could live with her creations in their own little world. She gazed around at the piles of paper surrounding her before looking into the infinite white space that consumed her world. She was always wonder what came beyond the white, if anything did. She had traveled beyond the mountains of papers that surrounded her but found nothing. Just an infinite abyss of blank space. She slowly let go of her pen as she stood up. Papers falling rustling around her from her movement. She open her wing and flew up into the vast space above her. She felt relief flood through her body as she surveyed the world of her drawings below her. She breathed slowly as she gently smiled. Although she wished she could see something other than her home she felt safe and at peace there. As she looked around she closed her eyes and fell asleep. ———————————————————————— She woke to the sounds of what she assumed was screaming. She wouldn’t know though. She abruptly opened her eyes and realized she was laying on a hard gray rock. She blinked as the bright, colorful, and loud world around her came to life. Her ears hurt from the screams of scared people near by. She heard them scream things such as "WINGS AND A TAIL""FREAK" and "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" but she didn't care. For the first time in her life Rem saw color. She gazed at the bustling city around her. The gray buildings, the happy (and screaming) people walking by, the strange box a few feet away that was switching from green to red to yellow in color. Later she identified that box as a Traffic light. Despite the headaches the new sounds gave her, this different world made her feel delighted. She loved every minute of it. She spread her wings and lifted of the ground. The screams of the terrified people below were becoming quieter as Rem flew higher into the night sky. She had never felt so happy and free in her life. She spiraled toward what she believed was the moon with nothing but joy and adrenaline running through her. She admired the deep blue and black sky around her. As she flew higher and higher she flew straight through a cloud, which only served to make her more excited because she had never been wet before. After some more exploration she had tired herself out and went to land on the tallest skyscraper but misjudged the location that she was going to and she smashed straight through a top floor window. She tumbled onto the ground laughing. Soon she noticed another girl standing in front of her mouth wide open gazing at Rems wings. "W-Who W-What a-are you?" the girl said. Rem gazed into the girls deep blue eyes curiously as she responded "What do you mean?" The girl look a little bit surprised as she stuttered "Well, uh, I-Its just t-that, uh, You have..." She paused "Y-You have wings and a-a tail..." She finished meekly Rem paused and for the first time got a close look at the girl infant of her. She was a redhead with silver glasses she had an oversized lilac hoodie with a drawing of cat on it. Her sweatpants were gray with paint stains on them. Rem starting pacing around her and realized there were no wings on her back. rem paused trying think back to the screaming people. She never remembered seeing wings or tails on them. She paused before collapsing to the ground and wrapping her arms around her knees as she rocked back and forth. Her tail swaying nervously next to her. --------------------------------------------------------------- Victoria looked nervously down at the winged girl that was rocking on her apartment floor. She surveyed the broken glass that littered the floor after winged girl flew into, and broke, her window. She nervously approached the shaking huddle on her floor and said "Uh, hey... whats y-your name?" The girl looked at and into Victorias eyes. "Rem." She said. "Im Rem" Victoria was confused at the unusual name but nevertheless whispered to Rem "Where did you come from, Rem." Victoria sat down next to the bundle of feathers to wit for a response. Suddenly Rems head shot up and she shouted excitedly "I think I know how to get back! Come on!" The sudden movement scared Victoria as she backed away fast scared. Rem grabbed Victorias hand and started dragging her towards the window. "W-WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!?!??!??!!" Screamed Victoria. "Flying! Just hold on!" Responded Rem as she jumped out the shattered window. Cont.
I hope I got the theme right :/ Im not sure though Cont. (I ran out of space up there) Victoria clung onto Rem's leg for dear life. "ARE YOU INSANE NOT ALL OF US HAVE WINGS REM!!!!!" Victoria yelled while squeezing her eyes shut. "Calm down i'm just flying. I'm not even that high up yet." Said Rem as she did a barrel roll in mid air. Before she started flying up quickly. "I-IM AFRAID OF HEIGHTS REM" Victoria said loudly. Victoria soon noticed her hands were slipping down Rem's leg. "R-Rem..." she nervously said. Rem glanced down at Victoria as fear washed through Victoria. Her hands slid all the way down before sliding completely off. --------------------------------------------------------------- People say your life flashes before your eyes before you die, but for Victoria all she felt was peace. The hazy world around her was rushing by at alarming speed but for some reason she felt safe, like nothing would ever harm her, the same way she felt when her mom hugged her. Before, before... Well it didnt matter Victoria would see her soon anyways. Suddenly She felt something like feathers wrap around her and then pain. all she felt was pain. Her whole body hurt but nothing felt broken. She open her eyes to see the night sky above her. She realized she was laying on someones chest. She got up and looked down to see Rem. Rems body was stone still and wasn't moving. Victoria went over and checked to see if Rems heart was still beating. It wasn't. Tears poured down Victoria's face and onto Rems dead body. --------------------------------------------------------------- Rem woke up again. She was back in her white space except this time she was surrounded by colored papers. She looked at each and every one. They all had scenes of something that had just happened, her smashing through Victorias window, Victoria falling, Rem diving after her, then Rem stopped. She looked one it showed Victoria crying over Rems dead body. Rem walked over and picked up that paper she gently stroked the pages as tears of joy fell down her face. She closed her eyes and hugged the paper close to her chest. --------------------------------------------------------------- Suddenly Rem opened her eyes and saw Victoria crying over her. She smiled softly before saying "Hi" She watched as Victoria's face beamed before Victoria said while crying tears of joy, "REM!" The end lord this is prolly past the deadline lol XD
