1: The Latch infected its host, and can only be identified by a thick black outline. 2: The Latch spreads outwards from the body, the host begins to lose control. 3: The latch fully infects the brain and stems begin to shoot out of the hosts head, the victim is no longer in control. 4: The branches bloom and heads begin to grow. Once the “Seeds” of the Latch are dispersed, the entire thing dies, leaving a husk of a once living host.
