IMPORTANT: This contest will operate much like my last DTA/WTA. After the first entry for a design is made, I will wait a month for others to make theirs before deciding on a winner. NO EXTENSIONS. -------------------------------------------- DTA means Draw To Adopt and WTA means Write To Adopt. They are both contests in which people make drawings and/or stories centered around a design they wish to claim as their own. -------------------------------------------- Rules: -You can apply for however many designs you want, but you will only win one. -No whining if you don't get the design -Tweaking the design to fit your liking is accepted and encouraged, but it has to be recognizable which design your entry is for. -Changing species of the design is allowed and encouraged. -Entries have to be remixes of this project -You don't need to ask to make an entry -Yes, you can do an animation -If you post a WIP, I won't count it as a submission. --------------------------------------------- Both DTA and WTA entries will be scored relatively with the other entries with the same rubric below: Creativity - If you tweak the design or species, or if you create an interesting backstory. (not very important compared to the others) Quantity - The length of the writing or how many writings, as well as how long the animation or how many pictures. Quality - Nearly the most important, a rating of how good the entry is for the medium and style(composition, anatomy, etc) Depth - The MOST important, how complex the story or art piece is, with multiple characters and worldbuilding. --------------------------------------------- Tips: -Create a FULLBODY, RENDERED image (not a sketch) -create side characters, I want my designs going to someone who will likely use them in the future -The more complex the style is, the higher the quantity rating. (cartoon vs realism) -Give the design a noticeable personality, if drawing (adventurous, excitable, etc) -Writing AND Drawing for a design will give you massive points in quantity.
