Scene - Ig he really likes books :00 Bio: Name: Rocky Nickname: Rock [honestly hates that name] Pronouns: He/they Personality: [+] Smart [=] Sweet [-] Shy (Almost scared shy) Likes: Books, tea, and gaming Dislikes: Outdoors, bugs and storms Backstory: [later that day:] A cool breeze swept the brown leaves across the sidewalk and Rocky paused. He smelled the air and then checked his little brother. "Rocky, guess what I learned at school?" he asked. Rocky was too distracted in the sky then the question. His nose twitched and he kept walking. 'Yeah?" he answered barely looking at Pip, his little brother. "We learned about storms and weather. Miss Sunny says there might be one today!" he cheered. "That's nice" Rocky answered back. It was the first week of school but it was too chilly and humid. Some in their area said it was "unusual and crazy" since chilly and humid never sounded like they went together. "Oh yeah! Mom says we can have candy after dinner tonight! Which one are you going to choose, Rocky?" Pip said, trying to pick a strand of grass growing in the sidewalk. "Whatever sour candy there is, I guess" There was a pause. "I forgot we had those! I'm going to have those salty sweet candies!" Rocky remembered how Pip always annoyed him over the summer. When they went to the beach in Sage City, Pip threw sand at Rocky, and insisted he didn't do it. When they were at home, their mom asked who opened the front door and Pip lied saying "Rocky did it" and he blamed Rocky all summer saying lies like "Rocky kicked me" and "It smells like Rocky, so Rocky did it" Suddenly, Pip said "Hey Rocky why is there a big cloud in those fields?" It took a minute for Rocky to realize what was happening. A tornado. A huge cone swirled on the field and pushed into the neighbor's barns. "RUN!" Rocky yelled jogging up through the hills. Rocky heard a faint "Whoa.." and turned around to see Pip staring up at the tornado barely flinching. "PIP! Those things can pick you up and drop you somewhere else!" Rocky screamed as loud as he could. It was no use. The tornado's sound drained Rocky's voice and it got louder. The sky turned dark blue and gray while Pip just stood there gazing up at the gray cone. It came closer and the tornado made a loud roar. Rocky couldn't do anything at this point. The last thing he heard was a faint "Rocky! I'm trapped! Help!!" >>> Rocky sighed and watched the tornado. He was sitting at his other neighbor's doorsteps, far away from the stormy chaos. He decided to head to his house which was half a mile away since his family lived in a rural town that was quiet but busy. Sweat clung to his fur as he walked in the fields constantly watching the troublesome clouds. "Almost there.." he breathed heavily. Soon, his house appeared down the hill. Rocky ran, almost tripping on one of Pip's toys. His mother greeted him in the doorway and paused when he saw what was missing. "Oh..Rocky...." she whispered almost fainting. There was a long moment of silence. "Pip... is gone." he breathed, looking down at the floor. "I know, dear." she said, with tears filling her eyes. "Come in and we can talk." She paced to the small couch and fell down, and closed her eyes with a sad frown. "I can explain everything- I'm so so sorry, mother. I miss him too." [1 year later:] The cleanup took 2 weeks and the b0di3s were endless. The wreck started from the mountains and ended at the tip of the shore. A few days after the storm, they heard that Pip was carried in the tornado and dropped in the fields. Rocky and his mother paced there to find Pip's small body, that was breathing, but too light. He was brought to the local hospital and they kept him there for a week. Later, they found out he had injured his head and his back leg, but he would be okay. Rocky looked out over the hills and forest, he was filled with worry and confusion. He felt as if he was the reason why Pip was almost k!ll3d. "Maybe I was.." he said and looked over the sad horizon.
