Hey! Welcome to my DMC to celebrate 190+ followers! (it was gonna be 150+, but we kinda blew past that mark when "Constellations" got featured, which is AMAZING) Tyasm! (please read the entire thing before entering) Rules: (breaking these will disqualify your entry) ~ MUST be a remix ~ MUST be completed by the deadline, unless you have an extention ~ extentions up to 5 days long are allowed ~ no copying, stealing, tracing, AI, picrew, etc. ~ speciesbending = please don't ~ altering the design a bit is OK, it just needs to be recognizable (i.e. slightly different clothes, gendered traits, making Raine feral, etc.) ~ you can enter for both characters (but you can only end up placing for one) ~ don't be mean to yourself or others ~ all skill levels/art styles are welcome! (this includes traditional art as well) Scoring System: each entry will get a score out of 10 for, well, not originality exactly (cuz y'all are supposed to draw my characters in a way similar to how they were designed), but what you've done to make it your own, as well as the overall look of the piece, which will then be added together with any bonus points that you have recieved for an overall score out of 20. Ways To Get Bonus Points: ~ drawing Sprout alongside Turnip (because I may or may not have a minor obsession with Sprout's perpetual confusedness) +1 point ~ drawing either character holding or in some way with their flag(s) (because LGBTQIA+ stuff rocks) + 2 points Prizes: note: Turnip and Raine are two seperate categories, and prizes will be awarded for each. other note: all entries will recieve a love and fav from me :) ~ 1st place: follows from me + my alt (@RandomNerdyStuff), loves and favs on 10 projects of your choice, shoutout on my profile for 3 weeks, and either a detailed logo (like the one I did for @-RisingArrow-'s contest) or a custom design with a theme of your choice, such as "water" or "cotton candy" (and please only request either humanoid or some kind of anthro animal designs, otherwise it'll look super terrible). (note: you do not recieve my character as a reward, but you may use the custom design/logo in any way you wish [please do credit me, though]) ~ 2nd place: follows from me + my alt (@RandomNerdyStuff), loves and favs on 5 projects of your choice, shoutout on my profile for 2 weeks, and either a simple logo (like mine) or a shaded halfbody of an OC of your choice. (note: you do not recieve my character or any custom designs as a reward, but you can do whatever you want with the logo or OC art, as long as you credit me) Deadline: Monday, August 21st (any entries shared on or before that date will count. if you need additional time, please contact me in the comments.)
