Today's officially my 15th birthday! And we did some cool stuff both today, yesterday, and even the day before to celebrate it. (Only one more year before I can drive a car and plow through the homes of my enemies. :3) Lemme tell you all about everything that's happened: July 29th: I had a good friend o' mine over. We mostly played games on our Switches, but believe me when I say playing Mariokart 8 with this guy was a blast. I tell ya, it's always a joy to have him around. (Shoutout to @spyro-the-dragon2 by the way. He's the friend I'm talking about.) July 30th: Yesterday, we went to the lake. I did a bit of paddleboarding, stone skipping, kayaking (for the first time!), and getting overly sunburnt. Still a good experience, though! Had some nice times with a few people I like, and a good cake. (Oh yeah, and I hooked my paddleboard up to a couple others and made a paddleboard train with my cousin and a friend of hers. The secret's in the ankle bracelets. Or tethers. Or whatever you call the thing you strap around your ankle when using a paddleboard.) July 31st (the actual birthday): Had them traditional birthday chocolate chip pancakes, which my mom likes to make every year! Later after that, we went to a cool place for dinner. A cool place in an even cooler city plaza that had plenty of fun stuff to do. (Like ping-pong and arcade games!) Didn't really like the waffles I got, but we (somehow) made up for it with a nice raspberry macaron and some ice cream. Dunno how, but it was a good enough substitute for dinner. I got a few cool gifts too! Although gifts do get a bit more boring when you're a teenager, but having the essentials--and Wind Waker HD--is always appreciated. Still liked the gifts, and I still love my family members who got them for me. (Plus, the cards came with their fair share of cash and Nintendo E-Shop gift cards!) Overall, good times were had. I wonder what we'll do for my 16th birthday...
