for sonic 2dxtreme I'm gonna make this take place after encore sonic mania, basically, sonic mania then classic forces then encore mode mania and then this thing, basically Eggman was sucked into a portal and phantom ruby was gone this is where he ends up, but he makes the galaxy fortress, looking like little planet to be disguised, and shoot down west side island. sonic knows its only visible at never lake so he ventures to the fortress to beat eggman
