Backstory: Rhyolite’s paw trekked through the dead earth, the world was broken and there was nothing left. Rhyolite was one of the very few left trying to survive these harsh conditions were food was scarce and live prey was even scarcer. Rhyolite often walked or lightly jogged as it didn’t want to waste all it’s energy on running. As more clouds swept overhead the musty sky become darker, Rhyolite decided to set up camp for the night. Images of a shining green crystal flashed through Rhyolites dream, the smell of d3ath was strong, their little grey tabby ears twitched tuning into the sounds surrounding them, screams, paw steps and panting. Rhyolite woke up with a jolt, “I-I need to find it…,” it stammered to themself. Rhyolite started to run, the screams in it’s head got louder and louder. Then they stopped as soon as Rhyolite come near a old broken temple, dead vines climbing it’s walls and rubble scattered around the temple in every direction. Rhyolite entered and in the center was a crystal shining green with a slight evil presence. Yet the crystal called to Rhyolite, so against it’s own will they grabbed the crystal. As the crystal touched Rhyolite’s scruffy grey paws, darkness started consuming Rhyolite until their was nothing left. Then the darkness disappeared, Rhyolite frantically got up spinning around. It was back at where it set up camp. But they weren’t the same…
