press space . click to zoom ~ hey everyone! we’re back with another painting process :D this is a bit of the sequel to last year’s Max and Eleven painting process, as we did these for our friend @queencrowe’s birthday these past two years ^^ (that said, this character is @queencrowe’s TFCRP character) ~ 0. thumbnail :) 1. character/design reference 2. moth reference 3. photo reference 4. sketch (again, I had to do some funky things with it to make it actually show up properly on scratch. for some reason scratch hates the texture of canvas.) 5. first layers! we did a few layers on the background and then started with some white and blue on the character. 6. fur! (+face) — this kind of speaks for itself. we just added fur in white and facial detail in the blue color. (as well as the moth wing) 7. more detail….I think we might have done another layer of paint on the background and then we gave her the facial markings and more of the accessories 8. even more detail…. this is, again, pretty self-explanatory. we added in the feather now :D 9. scar + more fur detail! 10. final product<3 ~ hope you enjoyed! ~ character + reference sheet belongs to @queencrowe all other art by us other reference photos off google zoom-in code is by @colorsnatch audio is hello my old heart by the oh hellos ~
