hi everyone i didn't plan to make a project like this, but i felt like it had been so long that i kinda had to i also don't even know if anyone will even see this but screw it here goes anyway i don't think it's any secret that i haven't been on scratch for a while. this is due to the fact that i simply don't enjoy it anymore. there was a period of time where it brought me great joy, but slowly, it started to feel more like something i was obligated to do rather than something i actually did for fun. i still felt accomplished when i finished a project, but i felt accomplished in the same way that I feel accomplished about finishing a paper for school, where i was kinda just excited that i could be done with it. i didn't hate scratch, but i did feel pretty empty towards it. additionally, i've been wanting to move on to creating bigger things, and it's been hard for me to do that using only a platform directed mainly at children. many of the people that i've found here are really cool, but i don't think it's any secret that Scratch's overall fanbase consists mainly of young children, which can be quite limiting when creating stuff over here. i've also realized that i've had less fun making games, which was what i originally got into this platform for, and more fun making stuff that mainly involved me talking, like VATC, which i realized suits me better on platforms like Spotify and YouTube. however, i didn't want to just leave all of this behind, because you have all been really awesome and i feel so lucky to have such a cool fanbase over here. i wanted to make one final project to go out with a bang. this final project, however, is proving to take much longer than i originally thought it would. you probably won't see it finished for a very long time, and i mean a VERY long time. i promise that i will try and make it worth the wait. until then, you probably won't see me very active on this account. i'll try to reply to messages when i see them, and i'll still check out projects that @Willowrules5 and @MaybeDustin tell me to, but until then, i hope you all have enjoyed my time here as much as i have. i'll see you all later. any questions will be answered in the comments
