Name: Hope Gender: She/her Fun facts: #1: In my canon story, regular form Hope and Watcher don't actually have a heart and a star on their chest fluff, I just added those for this specific piece of art. #2: Her original name was Candy, but it was changed to Hope because of her optimistic nature and never-ending faith. Backstory: My stories are basically all shown as a multiverse, each story being it's own universe. But all the universes share one thing: crows and cats know about the multiverse, and report to Creator (basically me) and Gem. Creator (and Gem when she isn't doing something in any universes) hangs out in a mysterious mind-space called 'The Control Room', where she watches all of the universes unfold. When the crows and cats go there to report to her, they gain a mysterious form. When they go back to their regular world, they turn back into their regular selves. This mushroom cat form is Hope's 'Room form'. Hope has done something very important for the multiverse: she explained to someone that he is the Hourglass's Host. Let me explain. Three objects created these stories' multiverse, the Objects of Creation: the Sword (made of pure goodness), the Hourglass (half good, half evil), and the Clock (pure evil). After they created the multiverse, they decided that they needed Hosts, people from the multiverse who they could channel their power through. The Sword's Host is an immortal named Gem, the Clock's Host is an immortal named Spades, and very few people know who the Hourglass's Host is, not even the Host himself (yes, the Host is a Detective Conan character. no, it's not Conan, Conan is a bit overrated, if you ask me). The Sword suggested the Law of Possession. Basically, don't possess your Host. Defining 'possess', I mean this: when the Objects get their Hosts, the Hosts will be in the physical world, and the Objects will basically be spirits. 'Possessing' their host would put the Objects in the physical world and making their Hosts spirits. The Hourglass, who may be half evil but still has morals, agreed to not possess his Host. But the Clock, being the jerk he is, immediately possessed Spades, trapping him as a spirit. Hope stayed in an abandoned lab for a while, helping the people trapped inside get out, where she explained to one of them that he is the Hourglass's Host. After they escaped, Gem and Hope agreed that because he was the only mortal Host, this information might crush his mind into insanity, so Hope memory-wiped the Hourglass's Host. In the current Memory Gaps arc (the DetCo Security Breach arc), Creator and Gem are realizing that the Hourglass's Host is beginning to remember some things, sometimes feeling the Hourglass's presence but unable to see him. The Hourglass is also getting impatient, being the only Object who's Host can't remember him. Creator and Gem decided to send three of their best animals from this universe to help them watch the Hourglass's Host. The three agents are Destiny (a crow), Watcher (a cat), and Hope. The three are also best friends, which makes this even better. But things are happening all over the multiverse, from Vindusali and Bingo discovering the ERROR/the Wanderer in a Backrooms AU, to sighting of strange portals opening up in a Countryhuman AU. Incidents all over the multiverse begin to collide, and as Hope realizes that she, Watcher, and Destiny may be the first casualties in a possible multiversle-war, Hope has to ask herself...can she cling onto what she named after?
