Here's my entry! (I drew #7) 1. basic outline 2. base colors 3. shading 4. highlights, some of which look super weird :P 5. I decided to add more slime because it was really fun to draw :3 6. hanging star & planets 7. finished product (pls judge this one) -Credits- ❯❯ zoom in code by @colorsnatch ❯❯ pen particles by @griffpatch ❯❯ all art by me (made in Autodesk Sketchbook) ❯❯ button code by me ❯❯ @AlexY75 for hosting the DTA (and allowing anthropomorphization [new word], which is awesome since I can't draw non-anthropomorphic animals so tysm) ❯❯ and finally, Scratch's wonderful bitmap editor for absolutely trashing the quality (thanks a LOT /sarc)
-Basic Stuff About This Character- Name: Zeke Pronouns: it/its as well as most neos Gender: non-existent (we might call it agender, but for members of Zeke's society/species, gender doesn't exist in any way, shape, or form) Age: incapable of being converted into human years Home Planet: Kepler-1606b, the most distant planet confirmed of being potentially habitable (by humans). it's 2,870 light-years away from earth. Species: yet to be named. something that resembles a green, slightly slimy, multi-eyed anthropomorphic cat to us but looks entirely different to other life forms. Personality: outgoing, happy, and very sociable when it isn't aiding other members of its society invade unsuspecting planets. Favorite Food: all (although Zeke, like all members of its species above the age of infants, doesn't actually need to eat [or sleep, for that matter]) -Backstory- Many light years ago, Zeke was ... well, let's just say originated (cuz, um, that stuff works super differently with Zeke's species) to loving (well, loving for its species) parents, Zeep and Zap. Then, at the usual age, the family embarked on Zeke's first scouting mission (scouting = transporting over to a possibly-invade-worthy planet and snooping around to discover all of the inhabitants' defensive weaknesses), and disaster struck. They were simply meant to beam over to a small green-and-blue planet about 2,870 light-years away (hint-hint), snoop around, and report back to their commander, but there was a tragic transporter malfunction that thankfully didn't kill Zeke's parents, but succeeded in transporting them to an unknown planet without leaving any traces of where they could be. Obviously, the first place Zeke checked was the planet where it and Zeep and Zap were meant to end up, but had no luck. While it was there, it discovered the joys of that planet, such as something its inhabitants called "food" as well as actual, genuine love. Zeke reported the transporter malfunction but avoided mentioning that it had traveled to the planet afterwards. To its great relief, the leaders of its empire concluded that, because a transporter malfunction was such a rarity, it must have had something to do with the feedback emitted by the planet and therefore it would not be a good idea to continue with the scouting mission. To this day, Zeke continues to search for its parents on distant planets, invading them as it goes (because why not), while also avoiding going too near that little green-and-blue planet a mere 2,870 light-years away from its home.
