Ever heard of the Jackbox party packs? If not, go look it up, maybe even get one if you want to, and then come back if you can. Jackbox is one of my FAVORITE series of games. Except trivia ******* party, that one’s creepy. With pack 10 right around the corner, I decided to make a concept of the party pack 11! Some of these I came up with a long time ago, and some I came up with today, so let’s get into them! (View the notes and credits to see)
Headsim: The social deduction game of the pack (I guess). The concept is everyone is on a team with 1 other person, but neither team members know who their team is. Each player is given 3 objects (ex: cat, blanket, sushi) and can send a sentence to 2 other players, but the sentence MUST include your word, and another dummy word that someone else has. Then you get all sentences that were sent to you and must find one of your words in there. That result is sent back to the player who sent it. Then based on the results you received, you can try to guess who your team is, but you can only guess once per round And that keeps repeating until both team members have figured out each other, then that team wins Dumbas: Oh boy! Time for some trivia! Everyone starts out with 10 points. At the start of each round, the host will show everyone 2 questions (or blue dumbos) and 3 answers (red dumbos). One of the answers is fake though. Each player picks the answers that they think is the answer to each question. Kinda like the final fibbage from fibbage, but players don’t enter lies. You get 1 point for each answer you get correct, and nothing for each you get wrong. Oh yeah, that fake answer will be recycled for later. That goes on for 7 rounds. The first and second will be what I just explained. The third to fifth will be the same, but with 2 extra answers and 1 extra question. And the last two, you get 3 points for each answer you get right, and all fake answers will now be here as real answers. Oh yeah, there’s only 5 recycled answers, but 6 questions. At the end, points are tallied up and the person with the most wins. Rymer Timer: A writing one. These are always fun. (Also yes, I did purposely misspell “rhymer” because it fit the title I wanted better) At the start, each player writes 3 words. Then one of those words is given to another player who must come up with a rhyme for that word in 20 seconds. Then all rhymes are shown and if anyone wants to contest it, they can. They will have 15 seconds to come up with a better rhyme for the same word. Then everyone else votes on which rhyme is better. The winner gets 100 points, and if no one contests you when your rhyme is shown, you get 150 points. Every 2 turns (1 turn if over 6 people are playing), a score count occurs. The player in first gets a magnet, which FORCES somebody to challenge somebody else, and the 2 people in last place immediately contest each other with a random word, then everyone votes on the rhymes and the loser is out. This happens until 1 player is left, and that player wins. (Note: eliminated players can still vote and contest, but they can’t do anything else, and Contesting is just for fun, as it rewards both players nothing, and the contested player still gets 150 if nobody else contests them) Toxic fusing: Ready to draw? I am! Each player gets 2 prompts that they must draw, kinda like Drawful. But then each player gets 2 drawings from 2 different people, and must combine them into one “mutant” drawing. After, each drawing will be shown on screen, along with 5 prompts from different players (two of which are the prompts used to make the two drawings that made the “mutant” one), and everyone will have to guess which 2 prompts made the “mutant” drawing. Guess one of them correctly, and you get around… let’s say 150 points. Guess BOTH correctly, and you get around 400 points! You also get points if you made the mutant drawing, and points if you made one of the things that got combined with another in the drawing. This goes on for 2-3 rounds, and then, you guessed it, player with the most points wins. And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for! *insert drumroll here* QUIPLASH 4! Really not to explain here, so I’ll just go over the changes from Quiplash 3. For every player that picks your answer, you get 200 points. Also, you get no extra points from getting every vote. You may now do a “Breakout”, meaning if the majority of players pick the one you picked, you get 500 points. You can only use this twice per game though. A new final round type has been introduced: Meanlash: you’re given an unfinished insult, and must select a player to target (this can be turned off in the settings) Just a style change, but all background are now the shade of purple/pink shown on the game cover.
