The Imperial Duolingo Army(IDA), the national army of Duolingo, was attacked by the Free Duolingo Army(FDA), a rebel force. They were fighting against the cruel treatment of the current Duolingo dynasty. They had long been the rulers, until they were overthrown by the new generation. Seeking vengeance, and a return to power, they prowled the dark web, purchasing weapons. The Duolingo Civil War began on July 20, 2023, when the FDA launched an infantry assault on Fort Falstaff. Armed with deadly streak freezes, they bombarded the IRA troops, who struggled to organize their forces due to FDA smoke bombs. Blue streak freeze explosions erupted out of the smoke. The IRA managed to cut down several of the invaders with its artillery and machine guns, but the FDA forces were too strong. They overran the fort, defeating the defenders. Of the fort's 40 occupants, 15 were killed, 2 managed to escape and the rest, including General von Ahn, were captured. The FDA had won.
