I was inspired by some turtle art created by Artemis Papert and Brian Silverman, and I wanted to try coding some of my own in Scratch using the pen extension blocks. I drew my own turtle as my sprite. In turtle art, you explore geometry and programming. You tell the turtle to draw lines and arcs, you specify the color and size and the placement, and you employ loops to create amazing works of art! This kind of programming is inspired by the LOGO programming language.
