***PLEASE READ DESC FOR ALL PROJECT CONTEXT*** Sorry for the YouTube-esc clickbaitish thumbnail lol Click/Space to see all entries ^ please please view full screen if on PC, makes it look crispyy Total time spent on all three: 18 hours and 23 minutes I just realized if I mess any of these up I can’t re-enter because I’m using up all my allowed entries, yikes (I'm looking at you entry numero dos, he l p) Except for the covers for the Nintendo games in the Dalmau entry, I’ve somewhat learned to give myself an art style and did not use a heavy reference for these entries this time haha (ik I say that every project but I'M A CHANGED PERSON K) For entry numero uno, I took creative liberty and drew Austin as a childo lol he is in a koi pond :) the water is a mess shh don’t look at it (also it didn’t look like Alien had an eye color besides black so I just gave him blue eyes lol) For entry numero dos, I drew Austin reconstructing Alien’s ship by welding it! (I guess Alien crashed in a forest?) You said Alien could turn into anything, so I wanted to draw him as a cat watching Austin working on the ship because I really wanted to draw a cat lol and I really could not think of a background so uh- I KNOW THE BACKGROUND BLENDS WITH AUSTIN AND THE LIGHTING LOOKS WEIRD AND INCONSISTENT PLEASE BARE WITH ME :’0 this was kinda rushed and I got burnt out because I really just wanted to post it so it’s a bit minimalistic ehh hopefully the other two entries make up for it, I spent actually like a week or so trying to figure out what to even draw Austin doing and I regretted this entry like halfway through :’) FINALLY for entry numero tres, I took it upon myself to spend some time studying Carles Dalmau’s chaotic style! I practiced his art style to understand his shape language. Dalmau’s style consists of comically long legs and cartoony hands, HUGEEE almost bug-like eyes, short torsos and very thin limbs/waists. Usually the character is in a fantasy-apocalypse-chaos type world lol or just in a very chaotic environment with a lot of stuff on the ground- so I drew Austin and Alien playing Mario Kart in Carles’ style :) I kinda took his usual environments and mushed them together into one weird looking room XD (try to spot all the HK Easter eggs :>) I tried to make the room look crowded and then I colored it and it’s SO EMPTY AGH AND THE LIGHTING IS GOOFY EHHh Oh yeah and congrats to GGX for now 13k followers, that’s a huge feat! ALSO IF ANYONE HAS EVER WATCHED THE YOUTUBE SHORT “Diamond Jack” AUSTIN GAVE ME SUCH VIBES FROM THAT ITS SUCH A GOOD ANIMATION PLEASE WATCH IT THE CREATOR IS AMAZING AND NOW WORKS FOR DISNEY <3 i am very determined to do well this time >:0

Like I heard the original HK theme and I was just like…bro :’) it’s so good, please play it if you haven’t- I played it maybe a little less than a year ago, and it was a way for my and my sibling to hang out, plus it was just such fun gameplay and the music is ofc one of the best parts <3 even though I didn’t play it when it came out I still hold really deep nostalgia for it UoU anyway uh none of the songs I looked through really fit and then I came across the Hornet theme (honestly still doesn't fit but eh) and that’s what I landed on lol
