Z (pronounced Zed) is an Australian free-to-air digital television channel that launched in 2003. It airs comedy, reality, general entertainment, movies, animation and drama aimed at a youth audience, aged 15-24. The channel is broadcast via satellite with HQ located in Melbourne, Queensland.
-During 2003-2011, the channel aired a block on Saturdays called "Super Duper Z" consisting of 6 episodes based on a specific theme. For example, "Super Duper Humor" consisted of 6 episodes from comedy shows. -During school holidays, the channel ran a block called "Bob-O-Rama" (later called Verti-cation), during which a different series is shown in a three-hour block each Sunday-Thursday night. -Zetto is an action and anime block that airs on Fridays at 6-9pm. It launched 2005.
