Select initial elk, wolves, and grass. Find conditions supporting elk and wolves survival. Wolves (red) eat neighboring elk and reproduce in that local space. Wolves die without elk. Elk eat grass and reproduce in that local space. Elk die without grass.
Really the same as my wolves-sheep-grass: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/874688438/ except smaller population. I like Elk better than sheep because there's Elk (and coyotes) near where I live. Oscillation results: After elk increase, wolves increase briefly, but then elk decrease, then decreased wolves. To better see the dynamics, slow down "speed."
