And yet, this is where we end up. We end up here, in the beginning. The start of it all. You see, sometimes it takes a long time for the beginning to begin. But this time it didn't. This time, the beginning came as soon as it could. And whether or not that was a good thing... Is a mystery.
The streets of the Resdin Kingdom were bustling with people, as the time had come for the new mayor to be announced. The war had been going on for twenty years, the war of the sides of the two candidates. Finally, it was time that one side won. Over 1,000 people had died in the war, and it had a major impact on the kingdom of Resdin. The new mayor cleared her throat, looking over the people. "It's time, that you all got a mayor," the woman said into the microphone, "And I would like to announce, that I am that mayor." A sly smile appeared on the woman's face, as she looked around the crowd. Next to the woman at the stand was a casket- probably with the opposing candidate inside. It brought great shame to the side who was with the losing mayor, and they all had decided to hide away in their homes for the announcement. Only the winning side stayed. It's always how it was- every twenty to thirty years these wars would happen, for the reasoning of population control and a new mayor.
