>> my favorite coping strategies << "Sometimes things have to get worse before they get better," -Keefe Sencen Sometimes things DO have to get worse before they get better, and it'll be worth it. Push through it. Use your grit. And don't give up. NEVER give up. Because giving up doesn't help you, it can/might actually harm you mentally and/or physically. Some of my fav coping strats is actually from Calla/Sophie/Keefe from KOTLC and Moon/Sara from WOF. Some of them include imagining worries being washed away in the shower/rain. Imagine your worries/anxiety getting trapped in rain droplets and splattering the ground or letting your worries being covered by mud (or stuff like that) Imagine your worries being swept away by an imaginary ocean wave or a bright sunbeam. Imagine your worries being twisted and held into a braid as you braid it. However, those worries aren’t gone forever. Once you feel ready to face them, untie your braid and let your anxiety untangle. Wash your worries back into your mind with the wave/sunbeam (or a rainbow!) trick. Let your imagination think that the splattered worries evaporate back into your mind. Let the mud part and have your worries jump back into action. Let yourself worry. It's natural. But if you need to, you can always think of coping strats or use the ones already existing, like deep breathing or counting to ten. I hope this helped u guys <3
