So, recently a Robin laid eggs in our front yard. The babies hatched, then grew, and it was awesome to watch!! But then, the babies all were learning to fly, and one accidentally hit my neighbors window and it seems to have broken its leg. It limps and holds its wing down, so I asked my grandma what to do (she knows a lot about birds) and she said if it doesn’t fly away by the next day then we should put it in a box with some water available to her. We put her in our garage, and she’s in there right now, but my mom said she doesn’t wanna drive to the animal rehabilitation center because she did a little bit ago for some mice my sister saved, and it’s a long drive. So I’m not sure what to do with her, and I don’t know if she will be able to go back in the wild, since she has a broken leg and predators like cats and such would snatch her up really quick. She can hardly fly, either, and she seems pretty weak. Please help!!
Picture by me, it’s the baby bird, you can see her wing is hanging down, that’s where her injured leg is. I believe it’s broken, since it seems that she can’t move her toes at all, her leg is completely limp.
