Towers cost materials and sometimes Energy Materials are gathered from the track using the hydrogen plant or the claw. They can be composed and decomposed for hydrogen at an energy cost. Energy is obtained when towers break atoms apart. You can also get energy by exchanging hydrogen in the materials lab Useful keybinds: Press w while hovering over a material to convert it to hydrogen (regardless of what mode you're in) Press q while hovering over a material to craft it You can use the number keys 1-5 to hotkey towers Press a to open the materials tab I will add keybinds for upgrades if I feel like it This game technically works on mobile, but it's quite annoying to play
It's an unreleased game from july of 2017. I had the old draft lying around and it was a cool idea so I finally got around to finishing it. Well actually it's not finished yet I still want to add more towers Updates: 08.02.25: Added salt gun tower Fixed a bug with tower menu overlaying a selected tower 06.02.25: Made it so deconstructing large atoms into hydrogen no longer costs any energy 12.10.23: Fixed minor issue with upgrades showing you could buy it when you actually couldn't. Fixed typo on the word "Fluorine" 29.08.23: First balance update: made it possible to craft hydrogen from energy, this means that energy-only strategies are now viable. Honestly I think this should've been a thing from the beginning. Also renamed to just "Periodic Tower Defense" because the original was never released and I never knew that you could have two projects with the same name in scratch I feel like that used to not be a thing. 30.07.23: Added brightness effects to indicate if you can buy a tower or upgrade 23.07.23: There are 30 rounds now 21.08.23: Added Neutron Canon tower (might change the name, also not super happy with right side upgrades) 18.08.23: Shared A lot of work has been put in to this project to make it performant, despite all of the moving parts.
