THE DUE DATE HAS NOT BEEN CHOSEN YET! Yes.. Another DMC focused on my fictional band, Essence of the Eloquent. My other DMC is still going on. But.. Band- About the band: The Essence of the Eloquent is a fictional band I made, consisting of 6 members: Nyx, Deliah, Aileth, Elicia, Hadley, and Melody. They play more music more towards the metal side, while keeping a pretty sound. They sound like The Birthday Massacre, Against the Current, Icon for Hire, Stitched up Heart, and other bands like those. Each slide shows a different character, so just click. 1. Nyx. Nyx is the bass guitarist and leader of the band. Being a strong leader, Nyx is bold and can handle most pressure. She's good at improvising when needed and can easily act. She can be stubborn, though she does try to keep an open mind most of the time. She's usually straightforward and doesn't sugarcoat the truth. For friends, she is highly protective. She tries to help close ones and if someone is bothering any one of her friends, she won't do nothing. In fact, she doesn't sit around and watch if there's any problem, no matter how small. Her girlfriend is Deliah. She is shorter than Deliah. 2. Deliah. She is the singer of the group, and does not know how to play an instrument. Deliah is a pretty sweet and caring person, though she isn't shy and does know her worth. She's strong and can take care of herself, while having the soft and flexible side needed to help others help her when she needs it. She will stand up for her friends, but tries to stay respectful at the same time. She is a good dancer and played volleyball in highschool. Her girlfriend is Nyx. 3. Aileth. She is the keyboardist (can be drawn with a keyboard set or a keytar). Aileth is smart and resourceful. She can fix almost anything that's broken and can firgure stuff out. She is responsible. Though despite this, she does know how to have fun. Only if it isn't a bad idea, of course. 4. Elicia. The drummer. She's always had a free, positive spirit. She likes to keep the mood up and is quite playful. This doesn't mean that she's a complete child and doesn't know what times are appropriate or not though. She does, however, like to tease the group (espicially Nyx and Deliah) and pull pranks on everyone. 5. Hadley. The electric guitarist. While Hadley is the cutest of the group, she isn't at all naive. She wants nothing more than to prove that, just like everyone else, she is a strong member who can handle her own problems. She doesn't realize that not all problems can be solved solo, and that needing help doesn't make her a child who can't do anything. She's a big romantic, and absolutely drives Deliah and Nyx crazy. Her own romantic life includes nothing more than a new crush almost every day. 6. Melody. The violinist. Melody is extremely graceful and her beauty never fails to amaze others. Before joining the band, she was a model. She has a calming spirit. Rules: - No tracing, copying, stealing, or using character creators. - If drawing ship art, only Nyx x Deliah pls, as they are the only official ship. With this, keep it appropriate. - You may make as many entries as you want, but remember, quality over quantity. - Have fun! There's so much you can do with these girls, on stage, having fun around town, album covers, spotfiy tracks, magazine covers, etc. - You may mildly alter designs, just please keep them the same character. Physical features must stay the same. Each character has two outfits, feel free to draw whichever one you want. - Be nice!!! Don't hate on others art, or your own. - Please REMIX this project with your entry!! - This is a DMC, not a DTA, winning does NOT mean you get to keep the character! Prizes: All of the winners for the listed categories will get to select a premade design, that I made, to keep. 1st for overall winner 2nd for overall winner 1st for Nyx x Deliah ship art 1st for group art (at least 3 characters featured on the same canvas) I've received some homophobic comments lately, so I wanted to point this out. Yes, Nyx and Deliah are together. You are not required to draw ship art or anything like that, whether it goes against your beliefs or not. A character is more than their sexuality. If that still makes you uncomfortable, Hadley is straight, so thats an option. If you still don't want to join because of these reasons, okay. But please keep rude comments to yourself. Just because you can say it doesn't mean you should. I've already had one person who couldn't learn that lesson, and then proceeded to swear at me in another language, so I had no choice but to report them.
