Even if you are well aquatinted with LoJ, I would still suggest reading this because there is some useful info in here. This project will also be updated every once in a while. First chapter: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/873596895/ 1. What does LoJ stand for? LoJ is an acronym for Legends of Jubruna. 2. What is Legends of Jubruna? It’s a comic! More specifically, a webcomic. It’s about a medieval fantasy world in which everyone is an anthropomorphic animal (an animal with human characteristics, in this case walking on two legs, talking, etc.). The story (yes, comics can have stories!) is separated into three branches: Raimi, Nua/Draize, and Skylar. All of the characters are trying to stop the villain, Sigor, from taking over Jubruna. (There is also a fourth branch, simply called “Other,” which deals with a few more characters. We won’t see much of it, however.) 3. You said “animal with human characteristics.” Are you a furry? I used to but no 4. Animals don’t have big, puffy eyes like that. My style is cartoony! It’s not meant to be realistic. In fact, if I were told that somehow I could switch my art style for the most realistic style in the world, I would keep this style that I have now. Not everything has to be realistic! 5. Is there anything inappropriate of any kind in LoJ? No. There is nothing inappropriate, including profanities. 6. Why does everything look so pixelated? Scratch has a very, very small canvas. The canvas I use to draw LoJ is over twenty-two times bigger than the scratch canvas. So, when I upload the images to scratch, scratch has to crunch them to be able to fit in the canvas, resulting in the horrible pixelated look. To fix this, you can read my comic on another website. I think I found a mistake! On the project where you see the mistake, write a comment that describes which costume the error is on, and what the error looks like (eg. a tangent, grammatical error, I forgot a key character part such as Raimi’s bandage, etc.) 8. I think found someone that is stealing your art or impersonating you! Theft: Double check the art, and then tell me in the comments. I made a fanwork (LoJ-related fanart, meme, etc.)! Definitely show it to me by posting a comment on one of my projects or on my profile! (We also have a subred and a disc, but ask permission before going on these sites.) 10. Ugh, why are the chapters so short!? You may have noticed that LoJ is shaded and comes out every week instead of every two weeks (during the school year) unlike most comics. This is a lot of pressure, so the chapters are short. Final.
