So, I recently viewed the JIS 2023 Awards. I congratulate everyone who won an award in this contest. However, viewing the Awards made me realize something: I have no choice but to move on. I feel like every project of mine since 2022 and ToAABJ/ToTA has been objectively worse than the last, save for outliers such as ToUD, and every promise I've made has fallen short. I hype up these big projects and... nothing happens, or the project is passed onto someone else, usually turning out disastrously for its intended theming. Speaking of passing on unfinished sb3s, I want to talk about the SoWS disaster. Not believing I'd ever have the motivation, I gave the sb3 of Floor 1 to @BlueDragonKai, and by the time I gathered the motivation to finish Floor 2, it was too late. The current version of SoWS that won Best Design was not the version I wanted to win awards. I had big dreams for SoWS, but now I'm stuck unable to do anything about it. I've let you all down, and there's nothing I can do to fix it. Maybe it's time I hang up this chapter of my life.
The following are absolutes, and they outline the end of the Bloonmaster9001 legacy: - The following will be finished, no matter how long it takes: TNa3DH 2 World of Cubes' subrealm, Bloon's Realm SoWS (the real one) OoTGT:TPR (No use hiding this one now) - All other WIP projects have been permanently cancelled, including Super Speed Course. - TLDJIN is leaving JIS and becoming a full-fledged indie platformer, and will be my magnum opus. If anyone wants to reach out to help me develop, I will update this project with an ID you can use to contact me. As I type this from the family PS4's Internet browser, I hope that I can finally acquire a device that helps realize this dream of mine and conclude what has been the best times of my life so far. Thank you for 2 years of unforgettable experiences. TNa3DH 2 Coming Halloween 2023
