With the creation of the DF Trainee applications, and the lack of mentors, we have updated and created a new mentoring system for trainees, something that you can take part of. ✧ HOW THIS WORKS: Any person in TFCRP can create an already- deceased character who’s sole purpose is to mentor a trainee. You can create a backstory, a past life, a basic personality, and their areas of expertise. (Idea suggested by @CrochetHearts ) To apply, simply comment the form presented below in the correct section. Afterlife staff will look over it and approve/deny your bio, suggest tweaks. Not all bios will be accepted! All we need is mentors, and DF cats that already exist will take priority over newly created characters. These characters main focus will to be mentors. If there is ever any dark forest plot, groups, etc. , they will not be included. These are not a cheap opportunity for a second character. ✧ HOW TO SIGN UP 1// Name/info such as sexuality and pronouns / appearance / personality / area of expertise / backstory Please submit that to the ‘ workshop’ part below! 2 // If you have been approved, move on over to the Tfcrp signups! Post your bio using the format given in the studio, put rank as Mentor and clan as both the dark forest and their former clan! A member of the afterlife team will accept your bio :] ✧ EXPERIENCED TRAINEES For trainees that have been training in the Forest for a while, an opportunity will be presented to train newer recruits. A chance to rise further up the ranks of the forest of gloom, and to put their knowledge to use. These will be deemed ‘ Dark Forest Warriors ‘ (name coined by @-_Flora_Night_- ) These will be given priority over the sign-up Mentors. To sign up, simply put you character, how long they’ve been training, their former mentor, and their areas of expertise in the correct section. I will approve you and feel free to start looking for trainees! ✧ EXISTING MENTORS Y’all can submit the same form as the existing trainees, minus the how long they’ve been training, and you can look around! ✧ MENTOR / TRAINEE APPROVAL Once you have valid reasoning for why a mentor would train a trainee ( Examples: family, clan, occurrences in their life), please message me (or Emmi or Bree) on my profile and I can confirm or deny this! ✧ TRAINING ITSELF The dark forest fights dirty. They teach poison, revenge, and how to ki|| a cat. It varies from character to character, but here are some basic topics that may be covered. - Manipulation - Poison - Battle Moves - How to get away with murder - Stealth - Deception - The flaws of starclan The dark forest does not teach honestly. They will manipulate you to make you stay, and spin you into a web so tight escape is impossible. Beware the deep dark woods. ✧ ENDING YOUR TIME We have a limit placed for the reason that we won’t get swamped with trainees, however we want to ensure a rotation of cats, so many don’t get kicked out. For this reason, let us know if your cat is planning on leaving. We may host something like this again in the future when others have the opportunity.
