[ this is a redraw, here’s the project with the original: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/709716387/ (there’s actually one that’s even older than that but I’m not going to bother finding that lol—)] 1 - sketch! I had to do some weird things to keep the photo from doing OTHER weird things in scratch XD hope that it’s clear, though. 2 - first coat on the background. the photo is, again, doing some weird stuff because of the textured canvas, but you get the idea 3 - first coat on everything and another coat on the background ^^ 4 - another coat where I sharpen up some details 5 - I darkened up some areas and added the medic symbol (not too happy with how it turned out but oh well) 6 - I darkened the fabric covering at the top of the pack and altered the clouds a bit, they were looking kind of funky to me. I also added more texture to the backpack strap by his face. 7 - final! I added some white highlights to the clouds and the back of his pack, as well as rounding out the light behind his face :) 8 - comparison :D I like this one overall a lot more! I did move the light to the other side so that I could illuminate his face more, and I do miss the gradient in the background a bit, but I like this version with the mist a lot too
